The story worked because you believed his reaction to this ridiculous situaion. Hey, why couldn't they have written an episode where Claire Forlani wasn't required to speak?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1152627234408224862006-07-11T10:13:00.000-04:002006-07-11T10:13:00.000-04:00"So Alan now you're saying the first partof this s..."So Alan now you're saying the first partof this season has been a disappointment?"

No, I'd say this season has been uneven. The premiere wasn't very good, but "One Day in the Valley" was. The Dom two-parter had its problems, but it also had Ari throwing scripts into the trash and beefing with 21 Jump Street boy. Etc.

In terms of "disappointment," I may be the wrong person to ask. I liked the second season, but I've never loved this show. It's entertaining and it's light, and when they put the focus largely on Piven and/or Kevin Dillon, it can be really funny, but it's never been a comedy masterpiece or anything.Alan Sepinwallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03388147774725646742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1152565280726740612006-07-10T17:01:00.000-04:002006-07-10T17:01:00.000-04:00Nice Sout-Out for one of my favorite Who songs. It ...Nice Sout-Out for one of my favorite Who songs.

It does Entourage no favors having to follow Deadwood each week. Turns out (as far as box office kings go) Depp was just the next Vincent Chase.BFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15264282750160516858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1152546713578341212006-07-10T11:51:00.000-04:002006-07-10T11:51:00.000-04:00So Alan now you're saying the first partof this se...So Alan now you're saying the first partof this season has been a disappointment?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1152542613492442532006-07-10T10:43:00.000-04:002006-07-10T10:43:00.000-04:00Hey, hey, in fairness, Aquaman did hold the record...Hey, hey, in fairness, Aquaman did hold the record for three whole weeks. If the show was still in production, they could probably throw in a joke about it for one of the later episodes, but most HBO shows tend to wrap before they begin broadcasting.Alan Sepinwallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03388147774725646742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1152537809279214712006-07-10T09:23:00.000-04:002006-07-10T09:23:00.000-04:00Nice to see that this year's 2nd episode of Entour...Nice to see that this year's 2nd episode of Entourage is already an anacronism.BFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15264282750160516858noreply@blogger.com
