I'm just saying that it and "Snakes" are on roughly the same quality level.Alan Sepinwallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03388147774725646742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1156178011568982372006-08-21T12:33:00.000-04:002006-08-21T12:33:00.000-04:00I thought it was great fun, plot holes and add-ons...I thought it was great fun, plot holes and add-ons and all. It was pretty much what I wanted: lots of snakes, lots of Sam Jackson, lots of Sam Jackson fighting snakes, all in an entertaining, foul-mouthed package. It was really funny that the guy Sam was supposed to protect probably had less screen time than Sam, or Juliana, or the other passengers, or the snakes, though...hee hee!

And what have you got against "Tremors"? ;-) That movie rocks! The sequels all blow, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1155938127846470312006-08-18T17:55:00.000-04:002006-08-18T17:55:00.000-04:00I was amused that it couldn't decide whether it wa...I was amused that it couldn't decide whether it was a comedy, a drama, or a horror show. If it was more like "Flightplan" or more like "Airplane," it would have been a better movie. Halfway in between, it just wasn't that credible.

You're right about The Line. It was obviously shot far away in both time and space from the rest of the movie.

~ JimAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1155931834653817062006-08-18T16:10:00.000-04:002006-08-18T16:10:00.000-04:00Great review. Because he's already off his dirtbike when the body drops.

That whole bit where Kim is talking about how the prosecutor's son is going to be without his father made me think he was the son, which in turn makes all the whining about Bali seem even worse.

Really, this may be the worst actor I've seen outside of porn.Alan Sepinwallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03388147774725646742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-1155910467593266592006-08-18T10:14:00.000-04:002006-08-18T10:14:00.000-04:00In Christa Faust's novelization, it's not his fath...In Christa Faust's novelization, it's not his father- in fact, the whole reason he wants to go to Bali is to meet his father for the first time. Whether this was in the original script or added by Faust, I dunno.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
