I think the novelty of it being only available on the internet increased my enjoyment a little.

I also connected to something Whedon said in an interview. He said that he released Dr. Horrible the way he did because he wanted to create an event where everyone had to show up at a certain place at a certain time. That's one thing I miss about TV before DVRs and DVDs. There was some excitement in running home to watch your favorite show or to watch a special TV movie that may never come on again. I'm glad that my TV doesn't rule my life anymore, but I miss that rush a little.Dani In NChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15032707452740200776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-70675529023462704092008-07-16T15:26:00.000-04:002008-07-16T15:26:00.000-04:00Plus, they didn't have anything else to do during ...Plus, they didn't have anything else to do during the strike. Yet, in the long term, I wonder if this'll dilute the financial stability of television... oh well, such is the way of the world.Randhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14305187318382810105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-9032522527998069602008-07-16T12:40:00.000-04:002008-07-16T12:40:00.000-04:00I just saw this and enjoyed it so much! His tongue-tied shyness with FD made it great. Poignant, even. The music was good but not as good, I thought, as the Buffy musical. I caught up with Joss' work like 3 minutes before the release of Serenity, so I've never had this feeling of eagerly awaiting whatever amazing thing he was going to do next, and then seeing it and feeling absolutely worth the wait and the hype.
