And realized that I'm not going to watch it again for one basic reason; I don't like any of the characters (save the "teenage child who's really more mature than the parents/adults" which has become a cliche since AbFab).

I mean, they're all exaggeratedly neurotic, stone stick stupid, and/or just generally annoying. With no compensating features such as witty dialogue/concepts as on Seinfeld (and by the end there, it was getter harder to overcome the fundamental nastyness the characters were increasingly showing). When pretty much the entire cast (as characters; I actually like a number of the actors' previous performances) grates on me, it's not a show for me.Tom Gallowaynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-32784574624167143122009-12-10T19:59:00.868-05:002009-12-10T19:59:00.868-05:00My favorite moment was when Bobby apologized for t...My favorite moment was when Bobby apologized for the dogs, saying he keeps leaving doors open. I got a hoot out of Travis' fascination with the bottle.

One thing that is starting to weird me out a little is the lack of personal boundaries between Jules and Travis, like her comment about him bathing her or last week's virginity storyline. It's not as if it's a single mom thing (I think), since it sounds like they were like that before the divorce.

Aaaaand apparently the WV agrees, since it wants me to type "inssess." I think they are realizing the rest of the cast is strong and the lead isn't as popular as they thought. Scott Foley is great in everything he does, I really liked him here. I could watch Ian Gomez babysitting all day, especially when the other guys are helping. He and Christa Miller have found the perfect balance.LAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04868479477550590056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-80942576837061682152009-12-10T14:28:27.711-05:002009-12-10T14:28:27.711-05:00I liked this episode, especially the baby arc.

I mean, he was clearly an irritating client, but I don't feel we were led to believe there was underlying sexual tension between them. Is it like well sure, a single 40 something woman is so desperate she will just fall for any guy who takes notice of her?Oaktown Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00811331454878606058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-64328181353430263292009-12-10T14:15:18.640-05:002009-12-10T14:15:18.640-05:00Javier and Noel! I think he fits in well and makes a great obstacle for Grayson, since they're both essentially the same person (snarky womanizers with good hearts deep down that only Jules seems to bring out), and I think it would be interesting to see (1) how Grayson reacts to his doppleganger getting his girl, and (2) how the show would present Grayson as being more suitable.

Also, I agree with Dez -- there's an irony to a man named Grayson hating on the name Tristan.dying alonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09916000188842805150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-12723056196946039742009-12-10T13:00:32.543-05:002009-12-10T13:00:32.543-05:00I'd love to see some kind of a Felicity reunio...I'd love to see some kind of a Felicity reunion with Javier and Noel in the later episodes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17517257.post-74689586565164987632009-12-10T12:12:43.686-05:002009-12-10T12:12:43.686-05:00I thought it was funny except for Jules.
