ABC was always going to order only 13 episodes of both Scrubs and Ted, as the only hole in their theoretical schedule was the Tuesday gap between Dancing with the Stars seasons. Even with Hank dead, they don't seem to view either show as a candidate for Wednesdays. Drew and Denise have quickly become a solid core for the other characters to play off of, far more interesting so far than any of the other new cast. Finally I'm not as annoyed with Lucy as previous episodes (even though she's still probably my least favorite newbie), and it's kind of strange that JD was the only 'oldie' that really took over the show and not allowed it to breath and grow as a separate entity. Without JD (and even with another guest oldie, Chalke), I'm really liking the new vibes of the cast.

It's a shame that ABC is kind of busting with comedies - with MF, The Middle, BOT, Cougartown and Scrubs Med all pretty fun to watch when they're at their best - so I guess this is the last season for BOT and Scrubs, but - there is that extra space on wednesday! Did she look like an 80's prostitute because that look is in style now (the retro part, not the hooker part) or is that what Denise thinks is dressing up looks like? The dress and the hair seemed too over the top to be anything but a joke, but Denise seems too young to dress up in something from the 80's.
