chuck and himym premiering on the same night... that's rough.
any word on what shows nbc will stream online? chuck seems like the type of drama that could follow the office/30 rock model and build a solid viewer base through online features and bonus clips
I'm just glad to have Chuck away from Reaper. They're the exact same show -- and two of the three best pilots in an overall mediocre network development season -- and it was terrible that they were in the same timeslot.
See, the only Blackpool promos I've seen were those which aired during the Tony Awards, which played up the musical angle, rather than playing it down. (And, unsurprisingly, played up Hugh Jackman.)
Hi Alan, do you think NBC is testing whether "The Office" will work as a weekly one hour show by airing four of its five scheduled one-hour episodes at the start of the season? I know the idea of a weekly hourlong "Office" has been tossed around by NBC before being pulled prior to the Upfront announcements. If this is the case, in your opinion, do you think "The Office" could work as an hourlong program each week?

ReplyDeleteInteresting that CBS seems to be holding Viva Laughlin. Lack of faith, or something else?
ReplyDeleteFootball double-headers. They don't want to launch the show and then have its start time to be irregular for weeks and weeks.
ReplyDeletei think what's more interesting about viva is that they're keeping the promos very drama heavy and completely ignoring the musical aspect of the show.

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to "Old Christine"? Or did I blip over it?
ReplyDeleteOld Christine is being held off until midseason.
