Over at NJ.com, I have details on NBC's fall premiere dates. Of note is that most of the Thursday comedies will debut a week before the season starts, and "30 Rock" will wait until Oct. 15.
Craptastic says it. Do they really expect us to tune in every night during Prime TIME! to watch Jay Leno? Every time NBC comes up with a good show they scratch it, they need to take a page from TNT and USA's play book.
I can't help but note that every single one of these posts I've done over the last few weeks about the premiere dates has been immediately greeted with people declaring they don't watch that network anymore, or only watch one or two shows on it.
Well, all I can say is that I really hope 'Parks and Recreation' will be on a vertical de-suck curve. OK, perhaps that's a bit harsh but what I've seen so far is a serious disappointment, given the talent involved and Amy Pohler deserves a lot better than to end up as another SNL alumni gone bad.
You have absolutely got to be kidding me. Has anyone started a pool on how many nights Leno will last in that timeslot? Because I'd LOVE to put $20 on 40 nights.
I don't watch this channel ever. Or any channel. I don't even own a teevee, so why are they bothering to release their schedule? Why do they bother creating a schedule? I blame Leno and Fallon.
Goodness, what a crappy scheudule. I hear Zucker is looking to change things around...again.
ReplyDeleteHa, beat me to it...past "The Office" there's almost nothing there...it's craptastic.

ReplyDeleteI agree that the 10 o'clock Leno block seems like a really bad idea.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm looking forward to Community and Parenthood ...the casts and the clips I've seen on both of those look interesting.
(Though NBC's promotion department should have come up with a better press photo for Parenthood; those people look miserable.)
Huh. I could've sworn that NBC had announced 30 Rock was going to be held back to mid-season.
ReplyDeleteYeah, until Chuck comes back my remote wont be stopping on NBC.
ReplyDeleteWell, with all the gold on that schedule, it sure made sense to kill all the Chuck momentuim and leave it off the schedule!

L&O at 8 p.m. just seems wrong. Are they going to have to tone it down for the "family hour"? Bah.

ReplyDeleteI won't be watching NBC until Chuck returns, apparently.

ReplyDeleteAhhh! You gotta love that photo. So middle america, so hearty, so white-bread! To quote Chuck, "Good Grief!"
ReplyDeleteI'll be watching the Thursday night comedies and the Peter Krause show pictured.
