Fox mid-season schedule: get it while it's hot!

Over at NJ.com, I have the full details on Fox's mid-season schedule, which, as usual, requires a certain knowledge of trigonometry to completely understand.

  2. Mark Vally, Chi McBride, AND Jackie Earle Haley! I don't care if the show sucks--I will still watch it! :-)

  6. Is Shut Down Shut Up getting new episodes? I thought previous press releases said that they would finish their 13 episode run on Nov. 21. Also, Will Arnett is on 30 Rock/Parks and Recreation. Are new episodes possible?

  7. I lost most of my interest in The Human Target when I heard that they were dropping the premise behind the comic it's supposed to be based off of (the main character being a disguise artist who takes the place of the person he is protecting). But with Haley in it I just might have to give it a look.

  8. Sit Down, Shut Up has been airing at 12am Sunday (Saturday night), as I found when I happened upon it on Hulu. (Was there something in the contract specifying that Fox had to air every episode?) It's much improved from the first few episodes that ran in prime time, but I can't imagine it's coming back. Look for the DVD...

  9. I probably should have read the whole release. Odd... but I still doubt there will be more than 13.

  10. What is that hideous background? It looks like they're standing in front of a screen saver.

I know this isn't a post about Human Target, but I wanted to vent about it somewhere. Peter Milligan's Human Target is my second-favorite comic of all time. I'm okay with dramatically altering the original story for other-medium adaptations, but if you make Christopher simply a bodyguard, then it's not really an adaptation anymore. It sounds like whoever optioned the show just wanted a comic book property just because that's the trend in Hollywood right now.

And I won't be watching the pilot, since it's getting bad reviews.

  12. Alan, a random question.

Have you ever shared your opinion of Six Feet Under anywhere? I've done a few quick searches, but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks.

  13. They have a lot of faith in House, to put it in Dollhouse's timeslot given it hasn't been doing so well the last two seasons even in first run episdoes. Or are they going to run the first 4 seasons instead?
