TCA: 'Seinfeld' reunion on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

Over at NJ.com, I have details of how the next season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will feature the long-awaited (and entirely fictional) "Seinfeld" reunion.

  1. Nice piece (with a few damaging typos). I can't wait for this.

  2. Reading this (and reading the tweets live) made me really excited for the return of Curb. Did anyone ask if Viveca A Fox is returning? Or Cheryl?

  3. Is this going to be the last season of Curb?

  4. Anon: Not trying to take the works out of Alan's mouth, but Curb is an unusual beast. There are many times when one could have sworn the show was over, only for Larry to decide some months later to bring it back. Luckily, it looks like the "Black" storyline has really reinvigorated Larry. That said, its been a long seven seasons, so I wouldn't be holding my breath.

Off-topicish: Alan, I know they're not shows that are really talked about all that much, but any news on the return of Eastbound & Down and The Life and Times of Tim?

  10. The inevitable Leon vs. Michael Richards confrontation is going to be one of the highlights of TV this year. I cannot wait.

  11. That's my breaking point. I am exactly what David is hoping for: I've never watched Curb, but I will be glued to my couch every episode this next season.

Those of you who have seen it: should I start from the beginning, or just jump in at the premiere?

  12. Rick - Chances are high you could jump right in and be fine. It's not a terribly continuity-heavy show. Each season (after the first), has an over-arching plotline, but even those are contained just within that season.

Still, you could do a lot worse than go back and watch six very funny seasons of TV.

  13. I've been watching a bit of the Larry Sanders show lately and this sounds very Sanders-esque.

    Gonna be AMAZING
