As mentioned here and here, I've accepted a new job at HitFix.com, and will be covering TV there for the forseeable future. The new blog URL is:

See you there.

"Meet the new boss! Same as the old boss!" Congrats Alan!
Is there no RSS feed for HitFix?
http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-alan-watching.rss
See you after the jump, Alan!
Where's the HIMYM review. What gives!?!?
('s a joke! 's a joke!)
Someone at Hitfix commented that the RSS feed is finally a full feed, but I am still seeing a truncated, picture-less one. I tried to comment there but cannot.
See ya in the next blog, brotha.
Will your 'Wire' recaps still be available here, or will they be migrated to the new site? Also, do you still plan on doing season 3 this summer?
Recaps you've already done, that is.
Grrrrr! I've tried commenting several times, but it never works! I've tried to connect through facebook and create a new account at the site, but nothing happens.
For what it is worth, one of the best parts about this here blog was that it is so mercifully free of flashy crap, blinking animation ads, little pictures of links! links! links!, and so full of good content.
I don't know that I have the stomach to regularly visit hitfix. Which makes me sad.
Yep.
My dear sepinwall.blogspot.com, we shall miss you forever.
Fare thee well!
I, too, consider this a bittersweet change. Does this mean no more blog logos?
Whatever has already been reviewed here will remain here, yes. (it's in one of the previous posts saying he was moving). new posts on the same program, will, however, be at the new site. (and you have to sign up to comment, or use one of their other methods. I will refrain from my brand new rant about Facebook, but, you know, try *anything but* Facebook. I, apparently, already sighed up at hitfix some time in the distant past...)
Oh, great, I'm jonesing to read your LOST review and Hitfix.com is giving 404 errors. DAMMIT.
Your new blog cannot handle your popularity. oooopsies?
lol time to come back to Blogger.com I think. Fail Hitfix site!
1st comment after 3 years of reading your excellent stuff but the new site is giving off 404 errors....truly brutal
:(
can't comment on the new blog!
I guess this is a good thing for you or else you wouldn't have done it, but as of right now it sucks for us. I was so psyched to read your Lost recap.
Looks like we've crashed a server! Booooo to hitflix
booooooooooo to hitfix not being able to keep their servers up on LOST night.
HitFix must be freaking out over the increase in traffic, but I'm sure the advertisers love it!
(verification word, I kid you not: resset)

Last Post.
Did the pipes play the Flowers of the Forrest?

Hitfit can't handle the hits.
But even while it was working, it was pretty annoying compared to the simple blogger.com setup.
I read your blog on my phone - the straightforward design is great for my windows mobile browser. the new blog is so heavily laden with crap, I can't read your text! booo hitfix.
yeah Alan,
I mean I can even get it to load up because of all the flashy shit. Come on HitFix! Get it together bru.
People can't leave well enough alone.
You can delete my "Last Post", Alan; it's not especially amusing if it isn't, y'know, *last*.
....preferring this site....
Really like your writing Alan - no matter where you are hosted. One request though - program specific Tag's you've got on this template are good for non-American readers who won't be viewing on the same schedule.
HitFix? More like ShitFix! The layout is awful, and the new commenters are idiots!
-snob
Yeah, also having problems loading with all the crap on that page. Come back!
Shane! Come back!
HATE the new place. I used to read every day. Now maybe once a week to see what you are saying about HIMYM.
Gonna miss you, old pal!
Hey Alan, just wanted to say that I read your review for the "Allen Gregory" pilot on HitFix. I identified with almost all of your points especially the part about the character Richard looking and sounding exactly like Dean Pelton from "Community." Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for writing an awesome review!
*Yes you are awesome because your work was validated by some anonymous person on the internet
