Buy my book! 'The Revolution Was Televised' is on sale now in a revised edition!

12/1/15 UPDATE: As you can tell from the snazzy new red cover on display, my book, "The Revolution Was Televised," has been released in a new updated edition, which deals with the ends of "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad" and shifts to other stories since I first published it back in 2012. (For many more details on the changes, check out this HitFix blog post.)

For those of you who don't know the book, it looks back at the last 15-odd years of TV drama through the prism of some of the best and/or most influential dramas in television history: "The Sopranos," "Oz," "The Wire," "Deadwood," "The Shield," "Lost," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "24," "Battlestar Galactica," "Friday Night Lights," "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad." It's part critical analysis, part history, featuring tons of new interviews with people like David Chase, David Milch, David Simon, Vince Gilligan, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, and more.

The new edition shares an ISBN number with the old one, which means all the retail links should work to the version in paperback at Amazon, through Amazon's Kindle store, for iBooks, for Barnes & Noble's Nook and for Kobo. There's also an eBook single featuring just the revised "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad" chapters, available for Kindle and other digital formats. I hope you like it. It's a book born out of the writing that started on this blog, so I couldn't have done it without you. If you have any additional questions, you can write to me at sepinwall@hitfix.com Click here to read the full post
