I must say, even though I'm not a huge fan, that I'm shocked they are shuttling Ugly Betty to Friday nights. That is a deathknell, isn't it? Can't be a very good sign...

Call me a cock-eyed optimist, but lowering expectation might be a chance for 'Ugly Betty' to get its creative mojo back. Or at least for Vanessa Williams to get back in touch with her inner be-atch and Betty to meet a man who doesn't (inexplicably) fall in love with her. UB isn't exactly bad, its just stopped being campy soapy fun.
I also find it rather interesting that 'V' is being talked about as a show that's been conceived as having a limited run -- four seasons and out. Anyone who is having problems sleeping is welcome to listen to me rant about shows that (understandably but still...) hung around past their use-by date, and ended up harming their own reputation. *cough* The X-Files *cough*.

I will definitely check out both, but I'm so excited about "V." I wish it was starting in the fall instead of "FlashForward."

At least one of the principal performers for "V" has something keeping her in NYC for a few more weeks, so they can't start shooting yet.
This isn't about ABC, but...
looks like bad news about Reaper:

Aw, what a bummer about Reaper.
There's almost no new ABC shows that sound good to me. More free time for me, at least until "Better Off Ted" comes back!

Interesting. What this tells me is I watch exactly one show on ABC in the Fall. That number will go up by 300% come January.
In other news:
8:00-11:30 p.m. "Saturday Night Football"
Wait, what? Is this that UFL league?
College football.
What are the shows "Hank" and "The Middle"?

Just seeing the name "Cougar Town" is annoying the hell out of me, even more now than when I first read about it.
This just goes to show that I really don't watch anything on ABC except Lost. And I'm in the demo they want (male, 33 years old).
Good News! Better Off Ted has NEW episodes coming back on June 23. At least the website is saying they are new.
But, what in the world are they doing? Are these episodes getting burned off in the summer, Alan?
