CBS fall premiere dates announced

Over at NJ.com, I have details on CBS' fall premiere dates. As per usual, nearly all of the shows are premiering during the first week of the official 2009-10 TV season.

Wow I guess I don't watch anything on CBS. I've thought of trying The Mentalist, but I think it was on when Fringe was.

I'm not sure if this has been said already but the networks don't usually announce their fall premiere dates this early. Usually it's in August. Maybe late July. This year they started back in early June.

James, obviously the networks are preparing to fire the people who announce the premiere dates, so they had them finish up their work early.

I'm pretty sure I'm kidding.

who are the 3 to the right on the logo (I know Sarah Walker from Chuck is on the far left)

That would be Jennifer Garner in Alias, Diana Rigg in The Avengers, and Gina Torres in Firefly.

Excellent collection of badass women, Alan.

Ha! I almost bought a condo in the building in that picture, The Lafayette in downtown Long Beach, CA.

Shar-

If you like Simon Baker, check out The Mentalist...it's a light breezy hour, and Baker is pretty damn charming in it...good supporting cast too

I'm thrown off a bit by Gina Torres- the other three are lady spies, and Zoe, while badass, did nothing spy-like.

On the other hand, now that I type that, I'm hard-pressed to think of another female tv spy. Maybe Agent 99, or Natasha (of Rocky & Bullwinkle)?

It started out as Women Who Kick Ass (as a counterpoint to the previous Men Who Kick Ass logo), and it was only after I'd finished it that I realized it was 3 spies and one mercenary. But I liked Zoe too much to replace her at that point.

If it helps, Gina played one of Garner's rival spies on Alias.
