Oh, man, the Ross and Monica dance. Possibly one of the finest moments on Friends; it captured perfectly the past *and* present true geekiness of the siblings, without reverting to the Fat Suit.
I dunno, am I alone in considering him a good actor? I remember in the making of season 1 documentary of NYPD Blue, the casting director said how much she thought he was an excellent dramatic actor and was surprised when he did a sitcom. I've enjoyed his presence in virtually everything, from "Apt Pupil" to "FRIENDS" and from "NYPD Blue" to Mike Figgis' very weird "Hotel".
These funny dance videos are great! Here's another nomination: Jenna dancing for Prince Gerhardt on 30 Rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgBXGtVHfxA

I would have thought that you would have called his pre-Friends stint on NYPD Blue his finest career moment.

How about Burke and Christina in Grey's anatomy if you can endure the voice-over.
Much as I love "the routine" I believe this is Schwimmer's finest moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xux8pDKiFYs
I'll offer this one, though it lacks his priceless delivery of "I can't go back to work because of my overpowering rage."
Hmmm..David Schwimmer as Bruce Banner?
Also, this should make the list.

Nothing can top Turk's Poison dance, though.
