A bit more of David Mills

Still processing the David Mills news. In addition to what I wrote yesterday, there have been a lot of lovely tributes to the man over the last day, including a David Simon-penned obituary, Eric Deggans writing about Mills' journalistic gifts, the Washington Post's pop music plug unearthing some of Mills' best music writing for that paper, and some of Mills' own thoughts on the importance of TV shows having a theme.

And speaking of theme, the new blog logo's theme should be pretty obvious: three characters created or co-created by Mills, and one who was never written better before or after Mills worked on "NYPD Blue."

It's great Alan.

Also, Yancey Arias should be on television more.
