Hey, somebody really is 'Watching'

Best announcement from NBC's executive session: "Nobody's Watching" lives.

Am I the only one who thought this show was TERRIBLE?

It reminds me of what happened with the Jake Effect. Just because NBC decided to never air it, there was a certain curiosity about it--so Bravo aired it under the "Brilliant But Cancelled" banner. Cancelled? Yes. Brilliant? Not even close. I think there's a certain novelty to watching a show on the web, particularly one that wasn't picked up, but I guarantee nobody really will be watching if it gets on the air.

Why couldn't people rally behind something that was actually funny??

I'm sure a lot of other people agreed with you, as taste is subjective; however, I found the show hilarious. And with Paul Campbell's Billy very lamentably killed off on BSG, he'll be free to ham it up "in front of a live studio audience".

Yep, it's subjective alright, and I too, fortunately, found the pilot Nobody's Watching great. They picked on all the 'traditional sitcom' cliches that we all love to hate. It's like a perfect meta-within-meta show for a generation of peeps that love to talk about a tv show endlessly. A lot of people got behind Arrested Development and a lot people didn't.. just a difference of taste I guess. But I can tell this one has heart and quality.

And a big plus is that Bill Lawrence is behind it and the man can do no wrong I tell ya.

I went ahead and posted a snippet of your NJ.com entry on TWoP in the Scrubs section, if you don't mind Alan..

As long as you linked to the actual blog, that's cool. We're trying to drive traffic there -- especially if What's Alan Watching is going to relocate there down the road.

Yep, all linked up thanks! I can't wait to see what Bill Lawrence and Billy (I think I'll keep calling him that forever) has to say about it.
