I'm confused. I thought Jesse Martin was staying on at least part time as Green. Or are we trimming the regular cast to 3-4 (one cop, one ADA, one DA, and a utility player)?
Also, wouldn't Mitt Romney's "Heroes" power be exactly what we saw in Candace--e.g., the ability to be all things to all people and yet nothing at the same time?
Jesse's staying for at least 13 episodes. Sisto's replacing Govich; I just refer to him as "the lead detective" because I think he's a better actor than Martin, and I expect them to give him a lot to do (at least, within the confines of the format) early on.
And it'll still be a six-person cast: Sisto, Martin and S. Epatha on the cop side, Roache, whatserface and Waterston on the DA side.

Like it says in the tour blog (You are reading the tour blog, aren't you? Because we may need to have words otherwise.), I asked Dick about Fred Thompson reruns having to be pulled due to the Equal Time laws.
Since you got Dick to pull out the cards, does that mean the other critics have to buy you drinks tonight?
Linus Roache? Huh. While I'm all for a Kidnapped reunion with him and Sisto, I felt that Roache was one of the weaker links of the show (especially his shaky American accent.) I've really liked Roache in other things, though, so I'll wait and see how he does here.

No, but they may feel compelled to do so after I participate in some version of "The Singing Bee" at the party, where I'll be competing with "Chuck" star Zachary Levi.
i'm sorry, i admit i skimmed the last bit of your tca blog.
i would have loved to see the look on Schwartz's face when someone asked him to compare Levi to Mischa Barton.
Levi started it, by comparing himself to Mischa (as opposed to the obvious Adam Brody resemblance); this then inspired Fienberg to ask Josh whether Levi's character would be bumped off at the end of season three.

They don't have to, but if history is any guide they will. When Schwarzenegger ran for governor, cable networks didn't run any of his movies. Why risk getting backlash when they could just air other episodes?

oh, the way it was reported in another blog (I think hibberd's) it sounded as though a reporter just asked Schwartz point blank abou the Barton-Levi comparison.

We don't need to put McCain on Las Vegas. He was already on that one episode of 24. And Rudy has been all over the place (SNL, Anger Management, Seinfeld, L&O).
