Two great tastes that taste great together: the newest Old 97's video, "Dance with Me," tells the story of a lonely geek in a "Frack Me" t-shirt who just wants to hang out with Tricia Helfer at a local club.
(Hat tip to commenter Steve in the latest "Battlestar Galactica" thread for pointing this out to me.)

this is incredible! my favorite band and my favorite tv show... how incredibly hot would tricia helfer and rhett miller's kids be?
I am always amazed so many outside Texas have heard of the old 97s yet they really haven't made it big at all...
I've been digging this song on my local college radio station for a few weeks now, though until tonight I had very different images in my head whenever I listened to it.
Every time I hear the Old 97's mentioned somewhere, my mind goes back to Four-Leaf Clover and Adelaide, from the VM episode "Donut Run."
And then I shed a tear for my lost show.
Cute video, though. Pretty much anything with gratuitous melee combat sequences is awesome, particularly with tongue in cheek. Tricia Helfer helps, too.
Fantastic video--and a fantastic song, as well, to live up to it.
I particularly liked the part where our hero takes a hit off his inhaler and then rejoins the fracas.
